Beth grew up in Worcester, before heading to Leeds University to study Biology - which she put to excellent use by accidentally starting a career in TV. Since then she’s worked in London, New York and Toronto for TV, radio and digital broadcasters including Radio 1, CBBC and MTV, launching everything from mental health campaigns to number one music-podcasts. She now lives in East London and concentrates on social impact projects, working with charities and broadcasters around the world. She’s been writing for teenagers ever since her career started, and has been being awkward in her own life for even longer.
