Yusof is a British-Egyptian writer, black-belt in karate, and occasional chef. Making absolutely no use of his maths-heavy Economics degree, Yusof loves to dream of cool scenes and then bangs his head against the table trying to make a story work around them. Yusof’s younger brothers are his main audience when he writes middle-grade, and also his excuse for still watching so many cartoons. Stories allow Yusof to proudly teach others about his culture, whilst also learning about others' through characters with different perspectives to his own.
